this is an experimental,concept website for my work and lab\n

my name is hanwook "han" chung. i am an assistant professor in abe department at iowa state university (since 2024). i received my phd at the university of wisconsin-madison from bse department (graduated in 2023) under the guidance of dr. christopher choi. my research interests revolve around managing the environment for indoor animal and plant production. controlling, optimizing, and designing agricultural indoor environmental systems to be more resilient and economical through simulation is the theme of my studies. some essential tools that i work with are computational fluid dynamics (cfd), internet of things (iot), and data science (ml)
